A TRAVEL NEWS ARTICLE ABOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM
'CORNWALL AND THE EDEN PROJECT'
The Eden Project
The Eden Project is famous for its amazing Biomes, one stuffed with lush plantings of a Rain Forest and the other with colourful Mediterranean plants. But there is more to the Eden Project than the two Biomes. There are the stunning and inspirational gardens created over 10 years ago from barren ground 15 metres below the water table with no soil or plants.

The two Biomes in spring
In spring these gardens shine with the gold of daffodils interspersed with crocus and flowering shrubs, followed by grape hyacinths, bluebells, campions and violets. As spring gives way to summer roses, dahlias, sweet peas and day lilies bloom alongside vegetables and herbs – there is always something to admire in these glorious gardens.
